Shop Waxed Canvas Tote (Large)

Waxed Canvas Tote (Large)

$119.93
sold out

Constructed in 12oz Durawax canvas, our totes are perfect for boating and general outdoor use. Twin exterior pockets keep gear organized, and elastic eyes at each corner are handy for securing small items or as tie down points for the tote itself. Spun poly rope handles are attached at heavy duty spur grommets (the same grommets used in sail making).

19 inches wide, 13 inches high, and 7 inches across the bottom

On waxed canvas from sailrite.com:

“As a long-lasting alternative to leather, waxed canvas is a heavy-duty, dyed cotton fabric created using a plain weave. In the days before Dacron® and synthetic sail material, waxed canvas was originally used by sailors due to its incredible durability, water resistance and ability to catch the wind better than unwaxed canvas. Today, waxed canvas is made using natural wax coatings.

Because of its wax coating, this canvas will patina beautifully when it is folded, scratched or scuffed, creating a rich, rugged look. This means you will be able to see the marks made in the fabric as they will appear lighter than the original fabric color. This gives a more unique, craftsman-inspired look to many projects. Like a full grain leather, waxed canvas looks better with age and wear!”
